We will be electing new vestry members, and discussing Parish objectives for 2012.
Christian Formation Classes for Children will be held. Childcare will be provided.

This Sunday, January 22, join us at one of our morning services:
7:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist;
9:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist, Children’s Church, Family Choir, Cherub Choir rehearsal/sing, Childcare
11:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist, Adult Choir, Childcare
At 10:00 a.m., we will have Christian Formation Classes including "Looking at the Lessons" for Adults.
Our Confirmation Classes will meet at Noon.
Youth Group will gather at 6:00 p.m.

Join us on Sunday as our Vestry provides brunch to the Parish and gives an overview of parish ministry in a fun and informative way. Annual Reports will also be available in preparation for the January 29th annual meeting. To all those who have helped with Calvary’s many ministries this year – thanks so much! Brunch will be served following all services.

Sunday, December 11 ~ The Third Sunday of Advent
Join us on Sunday for our regular worship services and a special Adult Forum at 10:15a.m.: "Looking at the Advent Lessons" led by Tom Kinnamon. At 10:00 a.m., parents of children participating in the Jan. 2 pageant are asked to meet in the Church for a brief meeting. Please note it is the last Sunday to sign up for the pageant.
Sunday, December 4 ~ The Second Sunday of Advent
*St. Nicholas will appear at all services!
*The annual Youth Group Christmas Cookie Sale will take place all morning. Come select a box of cookies and help the Youth Group with their annual fundraiser. Proceeds will benefit a charity chosen by the YG members and will assist them in the coming year with YG events.
* The Angel Tree Gifts are due! Please remember to bring your tags and unwrapped gifts on Sunday. The gifts will be distributed to local families in need by County Social Services Departments.
The First Sunday of Advent ~ Sunday, November 27
November 27 is the first Sunday of Advent. Included in our worship:
· It is the feast day of Kamehameha and Emma, King and Queen of Hawaii, (1885). Enjoy the pineapple after each service! They were Episcopal converts who helped found Queen's Hospital, St. Cross School, St. Andrew's Priory, and St. Mark's Mission Kapahulu. The Clergy are wearing stoles of Hawaiian fabric. Our 5/6th grade class meets in the Kamehameha and Emma room in the Annex.
Retreat: “Advent Flowering in the Desert”, Saturday, December 3 at 9:00 a.m.
